Check out the news story by Joanna Small, KIRO 7 News in Seattle. The news story ran on the evening newscast and was about the Teachers of Color Program. Joanna described the program as a unique way to recruit teachers of color. The story featured Justine Locke, a TOC Foundation scholarship recipient, and Andrea Paull, the teacher education advancement coordinator for the district. Justine and Andrea did a great job communication the importance of our program to the students of the Edmonds School District and I believe Justine will make a great District Superintendent someday!
